Liability Release:

• Dance and dance related activities involve some risk. In consideration of student participation in these activities, all families are required to release and discharge In Motion Dance Studio, Inc. and instructor's from any and all liability arising from accident, injury, and illnesses that any students may suffer as a result of participation in this activity.

Photo/Video Release:

• Families will be required to give permission for images of their child captured during regular classes, rehearsals, performances and special activities through video, photo, and digital camera to be used solely for the purposes of In Motion Dance Studio promotional materials, website, and publications, and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.

Payment Policies:

• Monthly tuition will automatically be withdrawn on the 7th of each month from either a Credit Card, Debit Card, or bank account that provided when a student registers. 

• Cash, Checks, or money orders will be accepted if paid by the 5th of each month. Otherwise, tuition will be automatically charged to a credit card, debit card, or withdrawn from a bank account by the 7th.

• Account holders will need to have a good billing method on file in the event you become delinquent on tuition or costume payments.

• If a family decides to discontinue there dance lessons, they must call the studio office immediately to stop future tuition charges from being added to my account. All families will be responsible for any balances remaining on their account.

Recital & Dress Rehearsal:

​

• The 2024 Recital will be held May 31 - June 2, of 2024. All students are invited to participate in the annual recital that take during the Fall-Spring Session.  Notification must be given to In Motion by October 15, if a child will be unable to participate.

• Dress rehearsals are held May 28-30, 2024 and are mandatory for students to attend.

• Individual Class rehearsals are held at the Ritz Theatre and give each class a 25-30 minute rehearsal time on the stage.  Class rehearsals are held over the following dates::

  • May 17, and May 20-24, 2024 (Schedule released in April).

Recital Costume Policy:

​

• For the Recital each class will need a recital costume and tights. The total cost of tights and costume/s are divided up into 3 deposits. Deposit #1 is due October 7 ($29/costume), deposit #2 is due November 7 ($29/costume), and the final costume deposit ($29 OR LESS/costume)....due December 7. There are no refunds for costumes once ordered. These deposits will be taken out automatically on the 7th or may be paid by cash/check by the 5th.

Other Studio Policies:

​

• All students are expected to attend class regularly and on time. If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late to class, she/her will be asked to observe instead for his/her safety.

• All students needs to follow the studio dress code and must wear her hair up for class. It is the parent's responsibility to have their child's hair up before they enter the classroom.

• All families will need to read any and all studio notes, emails, and other handouts in a timely manner to stay current on important information, changes, or deadlines at the studio.
